Det nationella nödläget i Spanien breddas nu till att gälla samtliga verksamheter. Detta innebär bland annat att all konstruktion, både offentlig som privat, också stängs ned. Motsvarande finns det inte längre några undantag för att varken arbetsgivare eller anställa får bege sig till den vanliga arbetsplatsen. Allt arbete ska ske hemifrån. Med denna tillstramning av nödläget har myndigheterna även ökat kontrollen i trafiken och i alla städer, i hela Spanien, är det nu fler poliskontroller. Som invånare har man nu bara rätt att gå, köra eller cykla till närmaste matbutik, apotek eller läkare. Varje ärende måste kunna bevisas med t ex ett kassakvitto från matbutiken. Det har redan utställts 35 000 böter, fördelade över hela landet, på mellan 600-30 000 euro, till personer som inte efterlevt utegångsförbudet, som gället till den 9 april.
